Stripe Payment Integration

Collect payments at the time of booking by connecting Stripe. Set prices per event, handle refunds, and track revenue.

If you charge for your services, collecting payment at the time of booking streamlines your workflow and reduces no-shows. The Stripe integration lets you set prices on events and collect payments automatically when guests book.

Connecting Stripe

Navigate to Settings > Integrations and click Connect Stripe. You will be redirected to Stripe's onboarding flow. If you already have a Stripe account, sign in and authorize Meetlr. If you are new to Stripe, you can create an account during the flow. Stripe handles all payment processing, security, and compliance.

Setting Prices on Events

After connecting Stripe, open any event and navigate to the Payment tab in its settings. Enable payment collection and enter the price. You can set:

  • Fixed Price — A set amount the guest pays, such as $50 for a consultation
  • Currency — Choose your preferred currency from the supported list

The price is displayed on your booking page so guests know the cost before selecting a time slot.

The Payment Flow

When a guest books a paid event:

  1. They select a date and time as usual
  2. They enter their booking details and custom question responses
  3. A secure Stripe payment form appears where they enter their card information
  4. Payment is processed and the booking is confirmed only if the payment succeeds
  5. Both you and the guest receive confirmation emails with payment details

Handling Refunds

If you need to refund a payment — for example, when you cancel a meeting — you can process the refund from the booking detail view. Click the Refund button and confirm the amount. The refund is processed through Stripe and the guest receives a notification. You can also manage refunds directly from your Stripe dashboard.

Tracking Revenue

View your payment history and revenue from the Stripe dashboard. Meetlr displays basic payment information in the booking details, but for comprehensive financial reporting, use Stripe's built-in analytics and reporting tools.

Tips

  • Collecting payment upfront reduces no-shows to below 5 percent
  • Include your cancellation and refund policy on the event description
  • Start with a lower price point and adjust based on demand
  • Test the payment flow with a small amount before going live
