One-Off events in Meetlr are designed for meetings that happen exactly once. You set a specific date and time, and once the event passes or is booked, it automatically deactivates. No recurring availability, no ongoing management.
When to Use One-Off Events
One-Off events are perfect for:
- A single introductory call with a specific prospect
- A special one-time workshop or presentation
- A limited-availability session you only want to offer once
- An interview or meeting that will not repeat
Creating the Event
Navigate to Events in the sidebar and click New Event. Select One-Off from the event type options. Enter the event name and description. Instead of setting weekly availability, you pick the exact Date and Time for the event. Set the duration and add a location.
How Auto-Deactivation Works
Once the event date passes, Meetlr automatically sets the event to inactive. The booking link will show that the event is no longer available. If the single slot is booked before the date arrives, the event also stops accepting new bookings. You do not need to manually turn it off.
Sharing Your One-Off Event
After saving, copy the booking link from the event detail page and share it with the intended recipient. Since one-off events are typically targeted at specific people, you might send the link directly via email or message rather than posting it publicly.
Tips
- Use a descriptive name that includes the date, such as "Strategy Session — March 15"
- Set a minimum notice period to avoid last-second bookings
- Include clear instructions in the description about what to prepare
