A single availability schedule works for many people, but if you offer different types of services at different times, multiple schedules give you the flexibility to control when each event can be booked.
Why Multiple Schedules
Consider these scenarios:
- You offer coaching calls in the morning and strategy sessions in the afternoon
- You hold workshops on weekends but consultations on weekdays
- You work different hours for different clients or projects
- You want some events available only during specific windows
Each of these requires a different availability pattern. Multiple schedules let you define each pattern once and assign it to the relevant events.
Creating a New Schedule
Navigate to Availability in the sidebar. Click New Schedule in the top-right corner. Give the schedule a descriptive name like "Morning Coaching" or "Weekend Workshops." Configure the weekly hours just like your default schedule — enable or disable days, set time blocks, and add breaks.
Assigning Schedules to Events
When creating or editing an event, you will see a Schedule dropdown in the settings. Select the schedule you want to apply. Only the hours defined in that schedule will be shown as available for that event. Each event can use a different schedule.
Managing Your Schedules
All your schedules are listed on the Availability page. Click any schedule to edit its hours. Your default schedule is marked with a badge and is used for any event that does not have a specific schedule assigned. You can set any schedule as the default by clicking the 3-dot menu and selecting Set as Default.
Tips
- Name your schedules clearly so you can quickly identify them when assigning to events
- Start with your default schedule covering your most common hours, then create specialized schedules for exceptions
- Review schedule assignments periodically to ensure events use the correct one
- Remember that date overrides apply per schedule, so you can have different holiday rules for different schedules
