Adding Date Overrides

Override your regular schedule for specific dates — set special hours, block holidays, or adjust availability for one-time changes.

Date overrides let you change your availability for specific dates without modifying your recurring weekly schedule. Use them for holidays, vacation days, special events, or any day that does not follow your normal pattern.

When to Use Overrides

  • Holidays — Block off Christmas, New Year, or any other holidays you observe
  • Vacation — Mark entire date ranges as unavailable while you are away
  • Special hours — Work extended hours on a specific day for a launch or event
  • Half days — Close early on a Friday or start late on a Monday

Creating a Date Override

Navigate to Availability in the sidebar and select the schedule you want to modify. Click the Date Overrides tab, then click Add Override. Select the date you want to override. You then have two options:

  1. Unavailable — Blocks the entire day. No slots will be shown to guests.
  2. Custom Hours — Set specific start and end times for that date only.

Click Save to apply the override.

Override Priority

Date overrides always take priority over your weekly schedule. If your weekly schedule says you work Mondays 9 AM to 5 PM, but you add an override marking a specific Monday as unavailable, that Monday will show no slots. The rest of your Mondays remain unaffected.

Managing Overrides

View all your active overrides from the Date Overrides tab. Past overrides are automatically archived. You can edit or delete any upcoming override by clicking on it in the list.

Tips

  • Add holiday overrides at the start of each year so you never forget
  • For vacations, create overrides for each day of your trip in one batch
  • Use custom hours overrides when you want to work different times, not just block the day
