Sometimes you already know exactly when you want to meet. Instead of sending your full booking link and waiting for the other person to pick a time, you can invite them directly to a pre-selected slot. This eliminates unnecessary back-and-forth.
How to Send an Invitation
Open the event from the Events page. On the event detail page, click the Invite button. You will see your availability calendar. Select the specific date and time slot you want to offer. Enter the guest's Email Address and optionally add a personal message. Click Send Invitation.
What the Guest Receives
The guest receives an email with the proposed date, time, and meeting details. They can Accept the invitation with a single click, which confirms the booking and adds it to both calendars. They can also Decline if the time does not work, or suggest a different time by clicking through to your booking page.
When to Use Direct Invitations
- You have already discussed a time verbally and want to formalize it
- You are scheduling with a specific VIP client and want to offer a curated slot
- You need to fill a particular gap in your schedule
- The guest is not tech-savvy and would benefit from a simpler flow
Tips
- Add a personal note to the invitation explaining why you chose that time
- If the guest declines, follow up with your full booking link as a fallback
- Use invitations for high-priority meetings where you want to control the timing
