If you use Outlook or Microsoft 365 for your calendar, connecting it to Meetlr keeps your schedule synchronized. New bookings appear in Outlook and existing Outlook events block your Meetlr availability, preventing double bookings.
Connecting Your Microsoft Account
From your Meetlr dashboard, navigate to Settings > Integrations in the left sidebar. Under the Outlook Calendar section, click Connect Outlook Calendar. You will be redirected to Microsoft's sign-in page. Enter your Microsoft account credentials and approve the permissions Meetlr requests.
Required Permissions
Microsoft will ask you to grant access to:
- Read your calendars — So Meetlr can check your existing events for availability
- Read and write calendar events — So Meetlr can create booking events on your calendar
Meetlr does not access your Outlook email, contacts, files, or any other Microsoft data beyond calendar events.
Setting Up Sync Preferences
After connecting, go to Settings > Integrations > Outlook Calendar to configure which calendars Meetlr monitors for conflicts. If you maintain separate calendars for work and personal events, enable both. Select which calendar new Meetlr bookings should be added to from the Add events to dropdown.
Enterprise and Organizational Accounts
If your Microsoft account is managed by an organization, your IT administrator may need to approve Meetlr as an authorized application. If you see a message stating that admin approval is required, contact your IT department and provide them with the Meetlr application ID shown on the authorization page.
How the Sync Works
The synchronization runs automatically in near real-time. When a guest books through your Meetlr page, an event is created on your Outlook calendar within seconds. When you add, move, or delete events in Outlook, your Meetlr availability updates accordingly.
Next Steps
With Outlook connected, your real-time availability is live. Create events from the Events page and guests will only see time slots that are actually free on your Outlook calendar.
